pens are gonna have to put greiss or zatkoff on waivers prior to season start. zatkoff most likely, won over 10 gamesd last year and would be free. hate to lose him but thatsthe kings best bet

OK In all seriousness now one has to wonder. .would mb actually sign in La? ..now this question has nothing to do with the kings being a bad team at all but when quick returns what do you do with Martin? Jones is the back up there no doubt I just can't see mb sitting on the bench in hopes of winning another cup

Budaj or tokarski would be solid fits, Clifford and/or Stoll could be good returns

If rather them stick with Jones, which is who they decided to go with when they let zatkoff go to waivers in the first place.

Not sure MB would sign in LA because what happens when Quick is ready then? Jones proved he can be the backup. Would be pointless to send him back down. Although DS plays Quick a lot and may do Jones better for more playing time at least for the rest of the year.

Personally I think the Kings will be fine unless Quick is going to be out for a long period of time which imo I don't think he will.

The other thing is they have almost no cap space so MB I am sure will be looking for at least a mil or 2 which is more than Jones makes so MB or someone would need to be traded which I don't see happening or think would be good. I could be wrong here with how the whole system works money wise though. Not sure.

Hopefully the defense will be the bright spot in 3 years, if not much more spending on average players with demand.

Montreal would be lucky to get a 3rd when they have to trade one of those guys. Every team knows that they have to waive one if they don't trade them. May get more for Tokarski if a bidding war starts.
